Where we began
Lorma Construction Limited began as an equipment hire business in 1994. Over the next ten years we developed into a progressive prime contractor in the road construction industry in Papua New Guinea.
To reflect this operational growth, we changed our business name to LORMA CONSTRUCTION LIMITED in June 2004. With 20 years of road construction and maintenance experience, Lorma Constructions emerged as one of the leading national road contractors in Papua New Guinea – in an industry that has been historically dominated by foreign companies for years.
Where we’ve been
Since then Lorma Constructions has now carried out numerous multi-million kina projects for local and international clients across both the private and public sectors. We are proud to have upgraded or maintained more than 200km of road network across Papua New Guinea over the last 20 years. One of the highlights of its construction experience is the K70 million Upgrading and Sealing of Kisenopoi to Angula Bridge Project. This is a 34km section of the Highlands Highway in the Southern
Highlands Province which has upgraded to highway status.
Where we are heading
Lorma Constructions is now looking to the future and aims to become a key leader within the construction industry in PNG, capable of delivering major projects to high standards of quality and safety.
As a locally owned and operated business, it has also been our goal to effectively contribute to the infrastructure development in our country, whilst continually striving to improve our services and exceed the expectations of our clients. With over 20 years of experience, a wide range of capabilities and a vast portfolio of technical resources, Lorma Constructions provides all the expertise and services necessary to help our clients complete their infrastructure projects and programmes on time, with quality and within schedule.
